There is going to be so much writing and impressions… that at some points the slate will revert become blank again: A shiny luminescent slate that reflects all things.
Essentially everything can be reduced to an idea.
it’s a copy of a copy of a copy: sounds like a good definition of crap. In other words it’s like an illusion of an illusion (rather than illusion of reality). Why do I make myself watch it because I think it will becoming the fabric of our consciousness? Interestingly, this post too become a self-referencing garbage.
The concept of eternity is important because it can occur within our finite lifetime.
snow is white is still true, and podium is for standing, and socrates is for snub-nosing, and alexander is for student of student of socrates, and a = a and 2+2=4 is for declaring true self-evidently … and “what is philosophy for?” you ask?
This state of affairs seems to press that having an inadequate and incomplete reality with a perfect idea of it is advantageous to having nothing and a mere perfect idea. The former is much closer to its perfect reality form than the latter.
It’s caused by the way it is, not because of the way it is, but because of the cause. So the cause takes precedence.
one thing and dis-remember everything else.
therefore I am.
The idea that every event is perceived or it goes unnoticed. That every such event must have been previously conceived.
It’s a struggle to recognize all things, and reconcile everything. To make a decision and decide at every moment. And still leave room for hope and change. It gets quite tiring.
Only if there was such thing as eternity… surely it would made things easy.
rewriting is better that writing. but writing is more fun.
As the gun debate continues in America, I get high school flashback from the ethnic violence in Grant High School and the columbine shooting having destructive effect in my trust in the world. Just like kids the nations have been involved with nuclear disarmament and preemptive wars as well. I can’t help but to see the role of the gun whether in a mass scale or shooting spree.
The t is widely held that when you kill someone, you are killing part of yourself; that violence cannot effectively end suffering. But as the weapons advance and evolve, the red button potentially creates devastation on such a large scale that blurs the distinction between aggressor and defender. We don’t need any more karma than this. The question is whether this would be a deterrent? (judging from what happens in traffic jams the answer is no). But the only logical conclusion is slowly becoming that it is not people that kill people…
It is a recent discussion I had with a wonderful audience.. that I brought the topic that in many cases present reality is a lie we believed in before. That it took someone to believe the lie. And that it seemed that a certain idea that is not true yet is not a lie in a common sense of distorting the truth. That Truth (with capital T!) has given everything a potential and they may not actually be able or have the opportunities to become actual yet it is not a slippery slope argument to see and treat them as what they don’t seem to be. That in spite of the truth being something wonderfully unknown (which this theory is promoting) that we can see the best in it. So in the truth lies in different truth. The lie is a truth that is unseemly and waiting be pointed out by artists and delivered by visionaries. A new truth is not a lie. So what seems contradictory to the truth lies in the truth in so many ways we are not ready to accept and understand. And that’s very close to a good definition for art I can provide.
you have to wait for the next train.
we need wise entertainers. those who doesn’t just make laugh and feel good. those who make us cry, embarrass us and tell us how boring we are.
love is overrated. It’s the friendship that matter.
What to do:
- Identify what it is.
- Acknowledge that it could always be different.
- Take a step. do not take action.
- Repeat from one through three.
