…or what you appear to say than it is about tapping into a certain consciousness.
and the first thing last
This state of affairs seems to press that having an inadequate and incomplete reality with a perfect idea of it is advantageous to having nothing and a mere perfect idea. The former is much closer to its perfect reality form than the latter.
art as a way towards redemption
art a a escape
art as an idea
art as action
art as a means to and art as an ends for the sake of art
appreciate makes a great name for a girl don’t you think?
yup… that’s it.
The idea that every event is perceived or it goes unnoticed. That every such event must have been previously conceived.
stupid is the new smart.
To release a product or service from the bonds of demonetization — the price of something in terms of money.
Now the argument should go like this: We can not do a good job of monetizing at all times therefore we should try to avoid it. The conclusion doesn’t follow exactly but I will try to make the propositions compelling. Or maybe not. It will suffice to say that the market value of something does not reveal much. Every person is a market in themselves and trade goes both ways…
rewriting is better that writing. but writing is more fun.
Don’t you hate it when people take picture of their food and put it on the web? Do we pretend we give a … about the food that was eaten by some friend? I know that the “first” person that did it was quite noble: The food had become an act. It was part of travelogue and the person was saving a seat at the table and sharing many more experiences about her life. It wasn’t just the image of a bubble tea someone ordered. Now having stated that, let’s talk about kofteh!
I was very kofteh, meaning beaten (tired) two days ago when a wonderful friend brought me some kofteh. It is ground meat mixed with variation of rice and and split pea (and some other magical ingredients) that is formed into rounded shape. So ironically it could take a kofteh to get rid of feeling koufteh (excuse the pun). I consider koufteh to have higher culinary value than the typical stews Persians make everyday. It has to hold up and cook properly. There is craft into it and it is very delicate.
I think food has power to transform and change. It has color, smell, taste, and engages every sense. The culture of preparing, serving, and eating is being lost which makes cooking for someone a greatest act.
(I like to think this person makes food only for me although it appears others benefit from her kindness and generosity as well. This reminds me of the time someone said to me “God loves you.” And as soon as I began to feel good about it, he added: “God loves everybody”. It is still hard not to think about her and think of Koufte. This is the impression I have of her. The sense-data includes Koufteh, as well as appearance, ideas, poems, artistic taste…
So I will call this, “the food of love”. Though it is good word for it. It has a sense of devotion, kindness, and grace. Food signifies time. It brings us back to the moment. It has a short span; just like our life. Food can’t be rushed. It has to be aged. It has to age, infuse and percolate.
It is very important to hide the food of love. The last time she brought cheese sandwiches to the gallery. They were wrapped neatly in their own plastic sheets and neatly placed in a basket. They were still warm. I quickly decided to drink tea with them and headed for the kitchen. But when I got back to the office, the starving artist had left me with an empty basket. I share food. But not this one. At least not with everyone. For I ask this: If life is a cup…
is it like a cup of love?
grab another sheet of paper and place under and adjust the position to get the desired margining and everything and stand further back to see everything.
profile/sand glass but it may look like conversation as well which is much cooler
we need wise entertainers. those who doesn’t just make laugh and feel good. those who make us cry, embarrass us and tell us how boring we are.
What to do:
- Identify what it is.
- Acknowledge that it could always be different.
- Take a step. do not take action.
- Repeat from one through three.
Do not speak your mind. It will get you killed.
Democracy killed socrates.
The kitchen needs to be larger. A lot larger. It should have many cabinets for storage. It should include the workplace. in fact the executive chair should be able to reach various compartment, including the fridge and the stove. I don’t care what the designers say — the synch (and the dishwasher) should be right next to the stove.
The very first iteration of the gallery space had an open kitchen, which the ministry opposed. It made perfect sense back and still does. The coffee aroma needs to brings things in motion and the counter is perfect place for meeting the constituents. Gifts needs to be edible. People should share their food. The balcony needs to be directly adjacent. It allows the natural light to fill the place and should support green life (vegatables) to sustain fresh salads treatment. Library shelves? Reference books mostly. There is hardly any room to waste. Digital? Absolutely.
I shall draw it up soon.
The next prophet will be born on the web… made up of our collective consciousness, it will change the way we see ourselves.
I know you have a lot of problems in your life.
But I don’t think I like to hear it.
at some point you are gonna look around you, and making sense of all the mess, it seems there is hardly any time left for it. That maybe… if you are more selective in your undertakings with knowledge of yourself you could realize few of your dreams.
p.s. the only reason I decided to choose it as a title, was appearing in the slug by default.
