the old man and the mac
“when you have the computer on is it still using the battery?” asked the old man from a genius in the mac store. Towards the end of the a long explanation describing the battery as “running” when the computer is in awake mode and mimicking the baby steps to show the battery in the sleep mode, I looked at the old man and he’s reaction was rage. Though the genius had tried the best of his ability to make the explanation simple the old man had not appreciate the hard work. The old man was old. But certainly he wasn’t stupid.

twirling circle of death!
I like to publicly announce my complete disappointment with with my intel-based macbook pro, mountain lion, 2.8 GHz with 8 GB ram. The power pc tiger is still far more reliable and now that I look back at the keyboard and interface it looks and feel a lot better. Recently I have come to struggle with rapid charged ram and depleted memory causing application to become unresponsive… I have concluded that Apple after Steve Jobs is no more and perhaps the golden age of mac is already over (just like widows finished at 95). As the company expands it will frustrated more and more users. I will procede now to download Linux.
this interface is in-the-face!
At some point we woke up and Gmail had done it. I quickly made a facebook, I Hate Gmails New Look. The fans grew and people vented their frustrations. We hoped this could convince Google to bring back the old “look” as an option. We had come to appreciate the “classic” look. Then (in my opinion) Facebook did it. It was called timeline. At this point no one wanted to hear a word about it. During this time I had upgraded my computer, downgraded my cellphone and experienced many interactions, experiences, or expectation that seemed valid wanted to share with the world. The interface group is the destination for users wishing to share their experience purely from the perspective of design, interaction, usability and disability. Join me!

digital revolution
There is a culture of production. Consumption is (now) becoming producing (in a real sense) the production because they are simultaneous and same. There is a culture of sharing. No borders. Doors are open. Curtains are out. We are coming out. We share how we feel. We share what we feel.
We share moments. The moment is now. Now is infinite and my channel is the only channel running in my own station. There is only my station in my station. This is true for me, just as everyone else. There is no prime-time to compete for. There are no outlets to dominate.
This is not impossible.
This is the digital revolution.
